Instructions
1. Start by standing upright with your feet together, holding a dumbbell in each hand with palms facing down. Make sure your arms are fully extended and the dumbbells are at thigh level.
2. Begin by stepping out to the side with one leg, like a lateral lunge position, while simultaneously lifting the dumbbells in front of you. Keep your arms straight and raise them to shoulder height.
3. Hold the position for a moment, ensuring your core is engaged and your back is straight.
4. Reverse the movement by lowering the dumbbells down to your thighs as you step back to the initial position.
5. Perform the same movement on the other side, stepping out with the opposite leg and raising your arms to the front.
6. Continue to alternate sides with each repetition.
7. Maintain control throughout the movement, avoid using momentum, and focus on engaging the shoulder muscles during the front raise.
Make sure to keep your breathing steady and consistent throughout the exercise. Exhale as you lift the weights and inhale as you lower them. Adjust the weight of the dumbbells to ensure good form is maintained for the entire set.
