Sitting Tip-Toe Clap on a Chair
1. Equipment Needed: No equipment required, just a sturdy chair.
2. Positioning:
- Sit on the edge of the chair with your feet flat on the floor.
- Keep your back straight and engage your core.
- Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height, parallel to the ground.
3. Movement:
- While keeping your arms extended, rise onto your tip-toes (the balls of your feet) without lifting your heels off the ground.
- As you rise, bring your arms in front of you and clap your hands together.
- Lower your heels slowly back to the floor while extending your arms back to the starting position.
- Repeat the movement for 10-15 repetitions, maintaining control and proper posture throughout.
4. Tips:
- Focus on balance and stability as you rise onto your tip-toes.
- If you feel unstable, you can place your hands on the sides of the chair for support.
- Perform this exercise slowly to maximize the engagement of your leg and core muscles.
