Instructions

1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart: Cross your arms in front of you at the elbows and clasp each hand to the opposite arm to stabilize your upper body. This is your starting position.

2. Step to the side: With your right foot, placing it flat on the ground and then follow it by your left foot to return to shoulder-width apart stance. Maintain the arm position throughout the movement.

3. Focus on stability: As you step to the side, keep your torso stable and your core engaged.

4. Step to the side with your left foot: Again placing it flat on the ground, followed by your right foot returning to the shoulder-width stance.

5. Incorporate arm movements: As you become comfortable with the movement, extend your arms out to your sides at shoulder height while stepping out, then bring them back to the crossed-elbow position as your feet come together.
