Instructions
1. Stand next to the lever machine and place your inside foot firmly on the platform. Your outside foot should remain on the ground.
2. Grasp the handle for balance and ensure that your body is in a straight line perpendicular to the machine.
3. Gently press the platform away by moving your leg sideways, focusing on the abduction movement through your hip joint, thus engaging your abductors and gluteus medius muscles.
4. Extend the leg until you reach a comfortable range, ensuring that you keep tension in the muscles and do not lock out your knee.
5. Return the moving platform to the starting position in a controlled manner, keeping the tension on the abductor muscles throughout the motion.
6. Perform the desired number of repetitions before switching sides and repeating the exercise with the opposite leg.
Ensure proper form throughout the exercise to prevent injury and obtain the maximum benefit. Adjust the machine resistance to suit your level of fitness.
