Instructions

Seated Open Knee Leg Raise on a Chair

Starting Position:
1. Sit at the edge of the chair with your back straight and feet flat on the floor.
2. Place your hands on the sides of the chair for support.
3. Keep your knees bent and feet together.

Movement Instructions:
1. Engage your core muscles and lean slightly back.
2. With your knees still bent, lift both feet off the ground about six inches.
3. Open your knees outward while maintaining the lift, creating a "V" shape with your legs.
4. Hold this position for a moment, focusing on engaging your abdominal muscles.
5. Slowly return your feet to the starting position by bringing your knees back together without letting them touch the floor.
6. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, typically 10-15.

Tips:
- Focus on maintaining good posture throughout the exercise.
- Keep your movements slow and controlled to avoid injury.
- If you're a beginner, you can start with smaller lifts and gradually increase as you gain strength.
