Instructions
Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a medicine ball with both hands in front of you.
Raise the medicine ball above your head while fully extending your arms as shown in the first image.
Engage your core muscles and twist to one side.
Keep your core tight and maintain the twist, start to turn towards the opposite side with your arms extended, as shown in the fourth image.
As you complete the twist towards the opposite side, forcefully slam the medicine ball down to the ground next to your foot, as depicted in the second image. Ensure to follow through with your arms and shoulders to maximize power.
Squat down slightly to pick up the medicine ball, as shown in the fifth image, and return to the starting position.
Repeat the movement, this time twisting and slamming the ball to the opposite side.
Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining form and power with each slam.
Exercise control and caution: Perform this exercise with control and do not compromise form for the sake of lifting a heavier ball. Use a non-bouncing medicine ball to prevent it from rebounding and causing injury.
