Instructions

1. Begin by lying on your back with your buttocks close to a wall. Extend your legs upward, with the backs of your heels pressed against the wall.

2. Stretch your arms straight above your chest, reaching towards your feet.

3. Engage your core and lift your shoulders off the ground, twisting your torso to the right.

4. As you twist, attempt to touch your left toes with your right hand. Ensure that both of your legs remain straight and in contact with the wall.

5. Hold the twisted position momentarily, focusing on contracting the side abdominal muscles.

6. Lower your shoulders back to the starting position.

7. Repeat the twist to the other side, this time attempting to touch your right toes with your left hand.

8. Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions or time, while keeping the movement controlled and maintaining contact between your heels and the wall.

It's important to perform this exercise with control and focus on the twisting motion through the core, rather than simply using arm movement. This will engage the targeted muscles more effectively. Always maintain a smooth, controlled pace and avoid any jerky movements.
