Instructions

1. Start by lying flat on your back on the floor or a mat with your legs extended in front of you and your arms by your sides.

2. Engage your core muscles to press your lower back into the floor. You can place your hands under your hips for added support if necessary.

3. Keeping your legs straight and together, slowly lift them off the ground to a 90-degree angle. Make sure you're lifting using your abs rather than your back.

4. Pause briefly when your legs reach the top.

5. Slowly lower your legs back down to the starting position without letting them touch the floor. This will keep tension on your abdominal muscles throughout the exercise.

6. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions and sets.

Be sure to keep your movements controlled and avoid arching your back or swinging your legs to maintain proper form and maximize the effectiveness of the exercise.
