Instructions
Front Plank Open and Close
Positioning:
1. Start by getting into a plank position. Align your hands directly under your shoulders and keep your legs straight.
2. Your body should form a straight line from your head to your heels. Engage your core throughout the exercise.
Movement:
1. While maintaining your plank position, open your legs to the sides as far as is comfortable. This movement will create tension in your core and legs.
2. After opening your legs, close them back together while still holding the plank position.
3. Repeat the opening and closing movement for the desired number of repetitions, focusing on keeping your core tight and your body stable.
Tips:
- Ensure your head is in a neutral position, looking slightly ahead of you.
- Avoid sagging your hips or arching your back; keep your body straight.
- Maintain controlled movements to maximize effectiveness and prevent injury.
