Instructions

1. Begin in a squatting position with your feet a little less than shoulder-width apart.

2. Lean forward to place your hands flat on the floor in front of you. Your palms should be shoulder-width apart with fingers spread wide.

3. Press your hands into the ground, bend your elbows to create a shelf with your upper arms, and snug your thighs against your torsos as high up as possible.

4. Lift one foot off the ground and then the other, extending them forward. Try to straighten your legs as much as possible, engaging your core and keeping the balance on your hands.

5. Keep your gaze forward and maintain a steady breath.

6. After holding the pose, release by bending your knees and gently lowering your feet back to the floor.

Remember that Firefly Yoga Pose is an advanced yoga posture that requires a good balance of strength, flexibility, and control. It may take practice and proper warm-up to achieve. If you are new to yoga or advanced asanas, proceed with caution and potentially under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
