Exercise Name: Walking on Spot with Shoulder Tap Raise
Equipment: No equipment needed.
Instructions:
1. Starting Position:
- Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your core engaged and your shoulders relaxed.
- Start with your arms at your sides.
2. Walking on the Spot:
- Begin marching in place by lifting your knees one at a time.
- Swing your arms naturally as you march to maintain balance.
3. Shoulder Tap:
- As your left knee lifts, bring your right hand up to tap your left shoulder.
- Lower your right hand back down as you lower your left knee.
- Repeat the shoulder tap with your left hand on your right shoulder as your right knee lifts.
4. Raise Arms:
- After performing a few shoulder taps (about 5-10), raise both arms straight above your head while continuing to march in place.
- Stretch your arms fully and hold for a moment.
5. Return to Start:
- Gradually lower your arms back to your sides.
- Continue marching for a few more seconds before stopping.
6. Tips:
- Keep your movements controlled and deliberate.
- Maintain a steady pace that feels comfortable for you.
- Focus on your balance and posture throughout the exercise.
7. Repetitions:
- Repeat the sequence for 1-2 minutes, or as long as feels comfortable.
