Instructions

1. Start by setting up the cable machine with a single handle attachment at a high pulley position.

2. Stand facing the machine with your feet shoulder-width apart for stability.

3. Grab the handle with one hand and step away from the machine to create tension on the cable.

4. Position your upper arm next to your head with your elbow bent and the handle next to your shoulder. This is your starting position.

5. Keeping your upper arm stationary, exhale and extend your arm fully to bring the handle down until your arm is straight and your triceps is fully contracted.

6. Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement and then inhale as you slowly return to the starting position.

7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

8. Switch arms and perform the same movement with the opposite hand to complete the set.

Ensure your movements are controlled, and that you maintain a stable posture throughout the exercise to prevent using momentum instead of your triceps to perform the extension. Adjust the weight accordingly so you can perform the exercise with proper form.
