Instructions
Starting Position:
Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
Engage your core muscles to maintain stability.
Let your arms hang naturally at your sides.
Initial Movement:
Raise your right knee up toward your chest while simultaneously lifting your left arm straight up toward the ceiling, as if celebrating.
Your right thigh should be parallel to the ground at the highest point.
Switching Stance:
Quickly lower your right leg back to the ground as you simultaneously lower your left arm.
Immediately raise your left knee up toward your chest while lifting your right arm up toward the ceiling.
Repeating the Motion:
Continue to alternate between raising your right knee with your left arm and your left knee with your right arm.
Move quickly and fluidly, as if celebrating each time you lift your knee.
Breathing:
Inhale as you prepare to lift your knee.
Exhale as you lift your knee and arm.
