Instructions
1. Stand in a boxing stance with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent. Your dominant foot should be slightly behind you if you're throwing an uppercut with your dominant hand.
2. Keep your hands up in guard position; fists should be near your jaw with elbows tucked in.
3. Engage your core and rotate your torso slightly to the same side as your punching hand.
4. Drop your punching hand slightly and bend your knees, lowering your center of gravity.
5. Quickly push off the ball of your back foot and pivot that same-side hip and foot forward to generate power.
6. Simultaneously drive your punching hand upward and diagonally, focusing on speed. Your fist should follow an upward arc towards an imaginary target (like the chin of an opponent).
7. As you punch, exhale sharply and ensure you don't lock your elbow at the top of the movement.
8. Quickly bring your hand back to guard position and reset your stance.
9. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions and then switch to the other arm.
Ensure that you perform the exercise with controlled speed and precision, avoiding wild swings or excessive movements that could lead to injury.
