Instructions
1. Start by lying flat on your back on a comfortable surface, with your arms by your sides and legs extended straight.
2. Engage your core and lift both legs off the ground by bending your knees and bringing them toward your chest.
3. Continue the motion by extending the legs up and over your head, aiming to bring your toes as close to the ground behind your head as possible. Keep your legs as straight as you can to maximize the stretch.
4. Hold this position for a set duration, typically between 15-30 seconds, while breathing deeply.
5. Release the stretch by gently bending your knees and rolling your back to return to the starting position on the ground.
Note: This stretch requires a good amount of flexibility. Begin with mild stretches and work your way up to this position to prevent injury. Always listen to your body and avoid pushing into pain. If needed, consult a fitness professional for guidance and modifications to accommodate different flexibility levels.
