Towel Bodyweight Side-Squat

Instructions

1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart with a towel under your right foot.

2. Shift all your weight onto your left leg, which is the stationary side.

3. Keep your left leg straight as you push your hips back and slide the towel and your right foot out to the side.

4. Lower your body into a squat position on the standing left leg, keeping the right leg straight and sliding outward as far as comfortable.

5. Your left thigh should be parallel to the floor in the bottom squat position, if mobility allows.

6. Press through the heel of the standing leg to drive your body back to the starting position while bringing the extended right leg back to the center.

7. Complete a full set on one side before switching the towel to your left foot and repeating for the same number of repetitions on the other side.
