Instructions

1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bring your arms to chest level, holding them straight out in front of you, parallel to the ground.

2. Engage your core muscles to maintain balance and stability throughout the exercise.

3. Shift your weight to your left foot and step back with your right foot into a reverse lunge, bending both knees to about 90 degrees.

4. As you step back, twist your upper body to the left side, aiming to keep the arms parallel to the floor. Try to keep the twist within a comfortable range of motion—don't force it.

5. Hold the twist and lunge position briefly to maintain muscle tension. Focus on keeping your abdominals tight and your posture upright.

6. Untwist your upper body to return to the facing forward position, simultaneously bringing your right foot back to the starting position.

7. Repeat the stepback and twist on the opposite side, stepping back with your left foot and twisting to the right.

8. Continue alternating legs and twists for the desired number of repetitions or time while maintaining proper form.

Remember to breathe smoothly throughout the movement and use a controlled motion to avoid any unnecessary momentum or jerky movements.
