Instructions
Starting Position:
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Keep your core engaged and maintain an upright posture.
3. Place your hands in front of your chest with your elbows bent and arms parallel to the ground.
Movement Instructions:
1. Begin by bending your knees slightly and shifting your weight onto your right foot.
2. As you do this, lift your left knee towards your chest, simultaneously twisting your torso to the right.
3. Aim to get your knee as high as possible while keeping your balance.
4. Hold the position for a moment to engage your core.
5. Return to the starting position, switching your weight to your left foot.
6. Lift your right knee while twisting your torso to the left.
7. Repeat the motion, alternating sides for a set number of repetitions or time.
Form Tips:
- Keep your movements controlled and avoid rushing through the exercise.
- Ensure your back remains straight and avoid leaning forward excessively.
- Focus on engaging your core throughout the movement to enhance stability.
Cool Down:
- After completing your sets, gently stretch your legs and lower back to prevent stiffness.
