Standing Side Leg Lift Jack
Starting Position:
1. Begin by standing upright with your feet hip-width apart.
2. Keep your arms relaxed at your sides and engage your core.
Movement Instructions:
1. Simultaneously raise your arms overhead while lifting your right leg out to the side.
2. Make sure to keep your leg straight and flex your foot (toes pointing forward).
3. Lower your right leg back to the starting position while bringing your arms back down to your sides.
4. Repeat the movement for a set number of repetitions (e.g., 10-15 reps).
5. After completing the set, switch to lifting your left leg while following the same arm movement.
6. Continue alternating legs for the desired number of sets.
Tips for Beginners:
- Start slow to focus on balance and control before increasing speed.
- Make sure your standing leg is slightly bent for stability.
- Engage your core for better balance and support throughout the movement.
- Focus on using your hip and leg muscles to lift your leg rather than swinging it.
