Sitting Side to Side Forward Backward Neck Stretch

Positioning:
1. Find a comfortable, quiet space where you can sit on a mat or a soft surface.
2. Sit on the floor with your legs crossed in front of you. Ensure you are seated comfortably, with your spine straight and shoulders relaxed.
3. Place your hands on your knees or in your lap.

Movement Instructions:
1. Start with Neck Stretches:
- Slowly drop your right ear towards your right shoulder. You should feel a gentle stretch on the left side of your neck.
- Hold this position for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply.
- Return to the starting position.

2. Repeat on the Other Side:
- Now drop your left ear towards your left shoulder, feeling the stretch on the right side of your neck.
- Hold for another 15-30 seconds, continuing to breathe deeply.
- Return to the starting position.

3. Forward Neck Stretch:
- Gently lower your chin towards your chest. Let your head hang forward.
- Hold this position for 15-30 seconds, feeling a stretch along the back of your neck.
- Return to the upright position.

4. Backward Neck Stretch:
- Carefully tilt your head back, looking up towards the ceiling. Be gentle and avoid any strain.
- Hold for 15-30 seconds, feeling a stretch in the front of your neck.
- Return to the upright position.

5. Side-to-Side Motion:
- From the upright position, gently tilt your head towards the right shoulder and then back to the center, followed by a tilt towards the left shoulder.
- Continue this side-to-side motion for about 30 seconds, maintaining a slow and controlled pace.

Tips:
- Ensure that all movements are performed gently to avoid any strain.
- Remember to breathe deeply and relax your shoulders throughout the stretches.
- If you feel any pain or discomfort, stop the exercise immediately.
