Forward Punch Step

Punch up your cardio! This exercise combines a forward step with a punch, building strength and coordination. A fun way to get moving!

Instructions

1. Begin in a standing position with your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands in fists near your chin, elbows bent.

2. Step forward with your right foot, shifting your weight onto it.

3. As you step forward, extend your left hand out in a punching motion, rotating your fist so your thumb is pointing down and your palm is facing in.

4. Bring your left hand back to the starting position near your chin and return your right foot to the initial standing position.

5. Next, step forward with your left foot, shifting your weight onto it.

6. As you step forward, extend your right hand out in a punching motion, again rotating the fist with your palm facing in.

7. Bring your right hand back to the starting position and return your left foot to the initial stance.

8. Continue to alternate stepping forward and punching with the opposite hand.

9. Focus on maintaining a strong core, keeping your movements controlled and your breathing consistent.

10. Repeat this motion for the desired number of reps or time, gradually increasing your speed as you become more comfortable with the movements.
