Instructions

Lever Seated Squat Calf Raise on Leg Press Machine

Positioning:
1. Begin by sitting on the leg press machine.
2. Adjust the seat if necessary so that your back is firmly against the backrest and your knees align with the foot platform.
3. Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the foot platform, ensuring that your heels are on the platform and your toes are slightly elevated.

Movement:
1. Push through your heels to raise the weight by extending your legs, ensuring you keep your back against the seat.
2. As you extend your legs, engage your calves to lift your heels up, performing a calf raise.
3. Slowly lower the weight back down by bending your knees, keeping control of the movement. Ensure not to lock your knees at the bottom.
4. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, focusing on smooth and controlled movements.

Tips:
- Keep your core engaged throughout the exercise to maintain stability.
- Avoid using momentum; focus on using your muscles for each rep.
- Adjust the weight according to your fitness level, starting lighter if you're a beginner.
