Instructions

Lie on a flat bench with your feet planted firmly on the ground.

Grasp an EZ bar with a grip slightly wider than shoulder-width.

Begin with the bar held directly over your chest with a slight bend in the elbows.

Inhale and slowly lower the bar in an arc-like motion behind your head while keeping the elbows bent throughout the movement. Go down as far as is comfortable without straining your shoulders.

Exhale and bring the bar back to the starting position above your chest, following the same arc-like path.

Focus on using your lats and chest muscles to move the bar.

Repeat for the desired number of reps and sets, ensuring you maintain the form and control throughout the exercise.

Keep the movement smooth, avoid jerking or using momentum.

Ensure to keep your back flat against the bench and avoid arching it excessively.

Adjust the grip width if necessary for comfort or to emphasize different muscles slightly differently.

Start with a lighter weight to perfect your technique before increasing the load.
